Description
Hekatonkaires! The Hundred-Handed Titanic forces banished to the underworld for being unpleasing to Kronus’ wizened eye, they and their brothers the Cyclopes, forced to live unseen because they were born unsightly, only visited by their sister Hekate.
These are the forces that gave Zeus the victory. The Cyclopes fashioned his weapon, the shining Bolt, and it was the Hundred-Handed he called upon in the final battle of the Titanomachy in which he smote his father down while the Hekatonchaires buried them forever under miles of stone.
Hekate is the bearer of the Key to the Underworld. It was she alone who could have let them out to aid Zeus in the overthrow of the Titans. Without her aid and that of her brothers, Zeus could not have prevailed.
This Talisman is engraved on one side with the stylized seal of the Hekatonchaires, around which is the phrase “As the Hekatonkaires unto the Titans,” to call upon them to aid you in overthrowing the titanic forces in your life. The image of the Hekatonkaires was commissioned from Adeline Dally Soothtell and includes the names of the three Hekatonkaires, Briareus, Cottus, and Gyges within the center star, their hands holding stones around, and encircling the outside, the words “As the Hekatonkaires unto the Titans”.
On the reverse are the seven planetary pentacles of the Key of Solomon that grant authority over the spirits of the planets in the material realm. These are the spirits that form our daily experiences, and deliver the manifestations of that which we desire from their spheres.
In the hour of the moon, using the spell of Selene for All things, this talisman is imbued with the celestial forces of all seven spheres and the powers of the hundred handed below.
This talisman is designed to draw up the power of the Hekatonkaires to bury the titanic forces in our lives, and to manifest the utter victory over the biggest obstacles keeping us from manifesting the world we want to live in.
